Role in public life: presenter, cabaret dancer, winner of “Estonia’s Next Top Model“, model
Secret feminine weapon: Smile
Favourite jewellery: In jewellery I value high quality and so my favourite ones are often gold-plated and with semi-precious stones.
A woman who inspires you: I’m strongly inspired by women who have their own path. I like Latino women with an attitude – Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz. Also more exotic ladies Dana Hourani and Chopra Jonas.
What is your greatest challenge as a woman? My greatest challenge as a woman is to listen to my deep feminine intuition, go with the feminine flow while also keeping up with life’s fast pace that is dominated by male energy. The key thing is to find balance between work and rest, as it is highly important to find time for yourself. If your relationship with yourself is shaky, it will make waves also around us. In addition to all practicalities, I also need to bring a lot of childish joy in my life, girlish playfulness, jokes as well as tricks. It is important to keep bright colours in my life!
Where to get strength and inspiration in an urban environment to cope with the race for perfection or perfect life? In the constant urban haste, you must slow down and make more choices. Everything you would like to do cannot be done and it is not necessary either. Less is more, your sense of harmony and happiness are the priority. When I need to rest or relieve stress, I go hiking in nature, work out, sleep as much as possible and enjoy good food.
What are (wild) women made of? There is hot and deep dark red blood running in their veins. They are passionate witches and gentle lovers. Their eyes penetrate everything and their lips know what to say and when. They are the embodiment of all the wisdom in the world. Their nature and knowledge live on in us.
Which ancient trait of character helps you best in today’s world? When I think of our female ancestors, I have tremendous respect for their trust in life. The future is always uncertain and unknown, but I believe that faith in yourself, love and care will make a beautiful world.
Do you have any secret rites or secret powers (jewellery) that help you to cope? I think that the most powerful items in my jewellery box are inherited from my mother and grandmother. They burst with stories and feminine wisdom and always give me strength. All I need is the knowledge that we are not alone and an army of souls of the past is behind me.
Which of your maxims or experience could benefit also other women? We experience controversy and diversity of opinions on daily basis. I have found solace in the thought that when there is a disagreement or I experience something unpleasant, it will always pass and it begins with myself. Sometimes it is difficult to admit it but we are the mirror of our thoughts and feelings. I meet a lot of different people in my work and I understand that it is not our task to change others, everybody’s values and words reflect their person. What we see and believe will define our life, so I have placed my bet on beauty and kindness.
