Spiritual power
AMETHYST is an extraordinarily powerful and protective stone; with its high mental vibration, it symbolises contemplation and integration of spirit and matter. In its violet colour, the blue of the sky and soul, and the red of the earth and blood have been joined. It is a stone for the soul, which soothes the mind and opens the door into spiritual worlds. Being a stone of mystics, it brings peace and balance and is great for meditation and concentration.

Amethyst is related to patronage, friends in high positions, and sensibility in relationships between people. It favours overcoming restrictions between spouses. Amethyst helps to get rid of bad habits (addiction to alcohol!); eliminates fear of changes and allows us to have a relaxed attitude towards the future. It is especially beneficial for children who express their negative emotions in the form of outbursts of anger and fury. Amethyst balances the physical, mental, and spiritual body.
Healing properties
AMETHYST activates production of hormones and balances metabolism. It is especially good for both headaches and migraines, as well as pain and tension caused by nerves, dizziness, visual disorders, and imbalance. By strengthening the overall condition of the organism and protecting and promoting the functions of glands and hormones, it soothes maladies related to diabetes and improves metabolism. It helps with low blood pressure, anemia, and other blood diseases. Amethyst has a relaxing effect on neurastenia, hysteria, neurosis, epilepsy, and unusual sensory reactions, and it also provides a good sleep. It is suitable for use during major transitional periods and, among other things, helps to prepare for death.

Care and maintenance
Lukewarm soapy water is the best for cleaning this stone, but it doesn’t tolerate long periods in bright sunlight or in other hot conditions. Household chemicals and perfumes are not a friend of any crystal.
